单机搭建Android开发环境详解

老话,工欲善其事必先利其器。为了学习安卓系统开发,我下了血本,更换了电脑。俗语,磨刀不误砍柴工,好钢用在刀刃上,为了发挥新本的最大潜能,我花费了很长时间去做配置和优化,都感觉有点偏执了。不过,从到目前为止的情况来看,老话俗语,完全正确。

    新笔记本配置信息如下:

    CPU:Intel Core i7-4710MQ 2.50GHz

    RAM:32GB

    DISK:SAMSUNG SSD 850 EVO 500GB,ST2000LM003 HDD 2TB

    OS:Windows 7旗舰版,64位,单系统

    众所周知,SSD读写速度快,但有寿命限制,好钢必须用在刀刃上,故将SSD分为两个区,一个用来装Windows 7系统,大概64GB,剩下一个分区用来创建虚拟机和安装Android Studio。HDD也如此,分两个区,一个区供软件安装和SSD优化使用,剩余空间分一个区做资料存储和备份。关于SSD和HDD分区好不好,要不要分区的问题,仁者见仁智者见智,我觉得还是以使用方便为主。分区不用过多,系统单独一个分区,主要是为了系统备份和迁移方便。最早机器是没有配SSD的,后来老邓见我编译Android系统实在太慢,便给我买了一个500GB的SSD。由于系统是单独分区,故使用Ghost备份和还原,不到一个小时就将系统从HDD迁移到了SSD。如果没有分区,就很麻烦了。

    有关SSD的优化操作有很多,譬如说禁用磁盘碎片整理、迁移页面文件到HDD和禁用休眠等等,为了方便,直接安装360安全卫士进行优化,再安装SAMSUNG官方提供的Samsung Magician软件,做进一步优化,主要是Over Provisioning(预留空间)的配置,据说可优化性能并延长SSD的使用寿命。这些优化实际都是尽可能减少对SSD无谓的写操作。基于这一点考虑,为了再进一步减少系统及各应用对SSD的写操作,我将很多系统及应用的目录都迁移到了HDD上,即采用mklink命令创建链接,通过长时间的实践证明,这个机制没有问题,且有效减少了对SSD的写操作。在为系统目录创建链接时需要借助于WinPE,这里推荐一个比较好用的版本,64位微PE工具箱,内置Ghost和系统安装等实用工具。

    最终SSD到HDD的链接如下图所示。

    在这个优化的过程中,主要使用了Everything和Process Monitor这两个软件来帮助判断需要迁移哪些目录。其中Everything是一款Windows搜索必备利器,在日常工作中也会使用到。Process Monitor则用来监视文件系统的所有写操作。

    SSD优化完之后,就是内存的优化了。32GB的内存,必须用RamDisk,否则不浪费了吗?将系统、360极速浏览器、WinRAR和其他一些软件的临时目录都放到RamDisk里去,至于页面文件,就没有必要放到RamDisk里了。32GB的内存,直接禁用页面文件即可,虽然有一点小影响,但并不碍事。Ramdisk工具推荐ImDisk Toolkit,免注册小巧好用!考虑到Android Studio运行模拟器时需要较大空间,故给Ramdisk分配了3GB。创建好RamDisk之后,依然使用mklink创建链接,如下图所示。

    以上主要是针对SSD和内存做优化,减少对SSD无谓的写操作,延长其使用寿命,创建Ramdisk,发挥内存的最大性能。这不仅仅对搭建Android开发环境适用,对配备SSD和大内存的机器都是实用的。

 前文介绍了如何优化SSD和内存,以发挥开发主机的最佳性能,同时提到在SSD上创建虚拟机。为什么不装双系统呢?双系统性能应该会更好!采用Windows+虚拟机的方式,主要是考虑到安卓开发和日常办公两方面,Ubuntu下办公真的很不习惯,且Ubuntu装在虚拟机里迁移也非常方便。前文提到,原先本本并没有配SSD,虚拟机是创建在HDD上的,后来更换了SSD后,直接将虚拟机文件拷贝到SSD上,用很短的时间就完成了迁移,如果是双系统就不得不重新安装Ubuntu和开发工具了。虚拟机软件推荐使用VMWare Workstation 12 Pro,经实践证明它的性能已足够好,感觉唯一的Drawback就是磁盘性能方面,但差别也不太明显,CPU和内存的性能应该都没有损失多少。老邓最早安装的双系统,看文档代码、烧录和日常办公都非常不便,后来也改用Windows+虚拟机的方式。他做了仔细比较,在虚拟机中编译Android系统只比双系统的方式慢一点。如果是修改Linux底层驱动部分的代码,在虚拟机中编译并生成固件大概也只要5分钟左右,而在双系统下大概是4分钟左右。编译是慢了一点点,但工作效率却提高了很多,值得!

    Ubuntu的版本选择也是以稳定可靠为主,不一定要用新版本,MTK官方推荐的是12.04 64位版,那就用这个版本好了。实践证明,RK3188 的Android4.4和MT8735的Android5.1编译都没有问题。Ubuntu的版本很关键,我们最初在服务器上搭建开发环境时碰到了N个问题,如GIT超慢、不支持磁盘阵列RAID5、必须使用光盘安装等等,现在说得像四两一样轻,当时可感觉有千斤重,一步一个坑。”The only source of knowledge is experience”,实在是经典精辟!Ubuntu版本用对了,一切都顺了,这里推荐使用12.04 64位 Server版本。

    VMWare很强大,支持自动安装Ubuntu,不过最好还是手动安装,可以自定义SWAP分区和ROOT分区的大小。SWAP分区最好还是有,如果物理内存很大,可以少搞一点,我分了4GB给它。老邓惜SSD,没有用SWAP分区,一般情况下没有问题,只偶尔编译Android系统时会无故出错,后来加了根8GB内存条就好了。

    在虚拟机上安装好Ubuntu后,先配置网络,推荐使用NAT模式+静态IP,比桥接模式好,对网络环境无依赖,设置静态IP便于主机访问。我最早使用的是桥接模式,经常出状况,不太稳定。后来GYP说可以用NAT模式,果然,用了NAT以后,网络连接就再也没有出过问题。经验啊!

    准备工作到此基本完成,接下来是干货。需要先说明的是,这些方法和步骤都是经验总结,不一定普遍适用,仅供参考。这个说明本身其实也是经验,因为我看很多别人写的文章都没有问题,但自己操作时却不行,后来发现因Linux和Android版本多,变化快,环境复杂多变,故没有绝对正确普适的解决方案,但可以借鉴其思路。故以下内容,我只能保证尽可能正确,如有不适,请指出。

1.安装ssh

 查看ssh服务

 ps -e | grep ssh

 若只有ssh-agent一项服务,而没有sshd服务,则执行如下两行命令

 sudo apt-get update

 sudo apt-get install ssh

 安装后增加了sshd服务

 验证ssh服务

 ssh hjb@192.168.81.129

 退出登陆

 exit

至此,可以通过Xshell远程登录Ubuntu。

Xshell是一款非常贴心好用的工具软件,Android开发必备!

后面所有操作都是在Xshell中进行,VMWare最小化放一边即可。

2.sudo无密码执行,取消sudo输入密码

 执行命令

 sudo visudo

 文件末尾加上如下行

 hjb ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL

 说明:需将hjb替换成特定的用户名

 Ctrl-O 保存

 Ctrl-X 退出

至此,执行sudo时无需再输入密码,省事不少

3.安装vim

 sudo apt-get install -y vim

4.安装samba并配置

 sudo apt-get install -y samba samba-common

 为samba用户设置密码

 sudo smbpasswd -a hjb

说明:如果不设置密码,只能查看目录,不能写入文件

编辑samba的配置文件/etc/samba/smb.conf

 sudo vim /etc/samba/smb.conf

在该文件的末尾添加配置项

参考设置如下:

[ubuntu]

path = /home/

available=yes

public=no

browseable=yes

writeable=yes

read only=no 

重启samba服务

 sudo service smbd restart   

本机安装smbclient

 sudo apt-get install smbclient

本机测试

 smbclient -L //localhost/

说明:可在开发主机的Windows7系统里直接用\\192.168.81.129\ubuntu\hjb查看文件和代码,Source Insight里也一样,不必将目录映射成网络驱动器,否则Windows7开机启动时会有较长时间的黑屏,体验不好。

    以上主要介绍了基于VMWare安装Ubuntu的好处,这也是单机搭建安卓开发环境,最重要的一点。ssh、vim、samba是基础服务和工具,无密码执行sudo则能有效提高��作效率。

 因Xshell很常用,故给它分配了一个快捷键,这样可以很方便的随时呼出。方法如下,点击桌面Xshell图标——右键——属性——快捷方式——快捷键——Ctrl+Alt+X——确定,如下图所示,同理Android Studio可以分配Ctrl+Alt+A。此方法适用于日常使用频率较高的软件,避免频繁回到桌面或者从开始菜单点击启动,随按随到,方便高效。

单机搭建Android开发环境,第一篇重点介绍了如何优化Windows 7系统,以提高开发主机的性能并延长SSD的使用寿命。第二篇重点介绍了基于VMWare安装64位版的Ubuntu 12.04,并安装sshd、vim和samba。本篇将重点介绍VMWare配置的优化以及Ubuntu 12.04系统的优化,进一步减少对SSD无谓的写操作并提高Ubuntu的开机启动速度和运行性能。最终优化的结果,在SSD上启动Ubuntu 12.04,大概不到9秒。

首先通过修改*.vmx配置文件,取消生成日志,减少对SSD的写操作,

  logging = “FALSE”

修改*.vmx配置文件,禁用硬盘内存文件(*.vmem),减少对SSD的写操作,同时提高虚拟机的性能,

  mainMem.useNamedFile = “FALSE”

其他有关提高VMWare性能的配置如下:

  snapshot.disabled = “TRUE”

  MemTrimRate=0

  sched.mem.pshare.enable = “FALSE”

  sched.mem.maxmemctl=0

  MemAllowAutoScaleDown = “FALSE”

  mem.ShareScanTotal=0

  mem.ShareScanVM=0

  mem.ShareScanThreshold=4096

  prefvmx.minVmMemPct = “100”

  prefvmx.useRecommendedLockedMemSize = “TRUE”

  mainMem.partialLazySave = “FALSE”

  mainMem.partialLazyRestore = “FALSE”

  priority.grabbed = “high”

  priority.ungrabbed = “normal”

以上优化选项仅供参考,效果如何,以实测为准。

通过dmesg命令查看系统启动信息,可以发现几处有明显的停顿,其中第一处如下,

此处停顿了大概10秒,可通过修改*.vmx文件如下属性做优化,

  mem.hotadd = “FALSE”

第二处如下,

此处停顿了大概5秒,跟eth0有关,可以通过如下步骤进行优化,

a)查找网卡对应的模块名称,执行命令,

  lspci -v

可以看到模块名称为e1000,Ethernet controller详细信息如下,

b)增加blacklist,执行如下命令,

c)修改文件/etc/rc.local

  sudo vim /etc/rc.local

在exit 0前一行增加

  modprobe e1000

  exit 0

d)修改超时时间

  sudo vim /etc/init/failsafe.conf

# The point here is to wait for 2 minutes before forcibly booting

注释掉所有的sleep,并保存。

e)重新创建initrd

  sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-$(uname -r)

 执行命令

  sudo reboot

重启Ubuntu,如下所示处仍有停顿,因IPv6而起,

修改配置文件/etc/sysctl.conf

  sudo vim /etc/sysctl.conf

增加如下设置禁用ipv6

  net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1

  net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1

  net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1

经过以上修改,重新启动Ubuntu,dmesg信息如下,系统在8S内启动完成。

已处理原版在国内使用时出现如下错误提示:

  fatal: Cannot get https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git-repo/clone.bundle

  fatal: error [Errno 101] Network is unreachable

将repo拷贝到/bin目录下,并修改其属性

  sudo cp /home/repo /bin/

  sudo chmod a+x /bin/repo

4)安装git

  sudo apt-get install git –force-yes –y

配置用户邮箱及用户名

  git config –global user.email “hjb@bonovo.cn”

  git config –global user.name “hjb”

5)创建密钥,并添加到服务器端

  ssh-keygen -t rsa -C hjb@bonovo.cn

拷贝id_rsa.pub并重命名,然后复制到服务器

  cp /home/hjb/.ssh/id_rsa.pub /home/hjb/id_rsa.pub.hjb113

在git服务器端登录bnv用户,并执行如下命令,

  cat /home/hjbang/id_rsa.pub.hjb113 >> /home/bnv/.ssh/authorized_keys

6)本地创建project目录mt8735,准备下载代码

  cd ~

  mkdir mt8735

  cd mt8735

7)同步代码

  repo init -u bnv@192.168.1.12:/home/git/MTK/lp5.1-mt8735m-mirror/bonovo/platform/manifests.git -b default

  repo sync

  repo forall -c git checkout lp5.1-mt6735m

  repo forall -c git checkout mt8735-avn401

  repo forall -c git pull

8)安装ccache,并配置ccache

  sudo apt-get install -y ccache

配置.bashrc

  sudo vim ~/.bashrc

末尾添加

  export USE_CCACHE=1

使配置及时生效

  source ~/.bashrc

查看设置状态:

  echo $USE_CCACHE

9)编译project

  cd ~/mt8735

  prebuilts/misc/linux-x86/ccache/ccache -M 50G

  . build/envsetup.sh

  launch 25

  make update-api

  make update-api,大概需要花18分钟,详细信息如下,

编译Android5.1系统

编译过程非常漫长,可以通过如下命令查看cahe使用情况,

可以看到cache大概有18GB,故使用ccache,第一次编译的时间会比不用cache更长,但之后编译速度将会有很大提升。

经过4个半小时,第一次编译终于成功了,详细信息如下,

虽然在SSD上编译,这个时间会缩短到5分钟左右,但还是比较长。所以在调试内核驱动模块时,最好使用动态加载模块的方式,以提高工作效率。

  基于Android Studio搭建应用开发环境,相比使用Eclipse简单得多。Android Studio也是Google官方推荐使用的应用开发环境,确实高大上,且版本更新特别快!

  首先安装JDK,安装过程,一路默认即可。

  JDK安装完成以后,再安装Android Studio。

  Android Studio的安装,也可以一路默认。但为了迁移方便,在安装的过程中,还是自定义一下安装的目录。将SDK和Android Studio安装在同一目录下,如下图所示。

  因国内无法正常访问Google网站,故在更新SDK时会出错,信息如下:

  Android应用开发还有一个很重要的部分,NDK。虽然官方友情提醒,不要刻意用它,对于大多数APP,一没必要,二会让事情变得更复杂。但是,杀鸡可不用牛刀,杀牛则不得不用,先备着吧。我在移植WinCE的远程桌面助手到安卓平台时也用到了NDK,socket通信、Framebuffer的处理、jpeg压缩这些代码,原来在WinCE上都是C写的,采用NDK直接拿过来稍加修改就可以编译,不仅仅提高了运行效率,开发效率也提高不少。这应该也是NDK的一个重要用途吧,复用已有的C代码。
