The EX318 for the RHCVA is allowed as an alternative to the EX423. While I believe that the EX318 is valuable training for anyone, I would not leave out the 423. I would rather return to take the EX318 as a later addition to my demonstrated knowledgebase.
I think that the RHCVA is a nice title to hold after RHCE, but in my datacenter, I would prefer the Directory Services expertise to the ability to migrate VM’s and allocate luns for Logical Volumes and snapshots. I choose the EX423.
